Thanks so much for for your prayers for the first 2 families who arrived this week in Winston-Salem. Their first few days have been a whirlwind of taking them through our World Relief orientation and getting them registered for a couple of the programs they will be involved with. They are adjusting well but I’m sure are getting pretty wiped out for all of the newness at such a fast pace.
There is tons of opportunity to meet them and help out a little bit if you have any time in the coming week. Here are a few of the ways you can be involved:
* PRAY for them
* Go by their apartment and meet them (most of them speak good English)
* Go with them (provide transportation) to one of their appointments (they have at least 4 appointments this week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday).
* Help them learn how to ride the city bus system
